Matthew Heron, PE

Matt brings 25 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry and is an exited partner of a national engineering consulting firm. He now serves A/E industry clients pursuing ownership transition. After serving as a commissioned officer and engineer in the U.S. Coast Guard, he joined, bought into, scaled, and sold an engineering and technical consulting services company that served developers, technology firms, governments, architects, insurers, and general contractors. With offices added throughout the western half of the U.S., he built and lead teams scaling revenue from $5m to $20m through organic growth prior to exiting. Post-acquisition, he worked to integrate teams, operations, and add-on acquisitions in support of the strategic acquirer’s integration and value creation plans.

Matt’s areas of expertise include leadership, supporting executives, and team building using an operator’s knowledge of P&L, growth strategy, and key client relationships.

Matt maintains Professional Engineer licensure in several states. His graduate degrees and coursework are a blend of Engineering, Construction, and Finance.
